Thai Refined Salt Co., Ltd. is the most advanced salt plant in Asia. The company produces both industrial and cooking salt products with two choices of moisture content, which are 0.15% and 2.5%. Most of our products are marketed within the country, and about 30% is exported to many countries in Asia. The iodized table salt and cooking salt is distributed domestically under the famous brand names of Prung Thip, Tipp Salt and TRS. For those exported to foreign countries, it is labeled under various brand names including Three Eagle, Flying Man, Moon Star, Light Star, Sunny Cook, and Tru Cook.
The company's main customers include many large food suppliers and health & personal care suppliers such as Nestle, Unilever, and P&G. Thai Refined Salt Co., Ltd. was established in 1988 as a private limited company with an initial registered capital of US$3.6 million. The company has invested around US$24.24 million in the business. Our head office is located in Bangkok and the factory is based in amphur Pimai, Nakornrachasima. We employ totally 180 employees, Our total revenues are around US$30.3 million.

Thai Refined Salt Company is a joint venture between Thai shareholders , Asahi Glass Company Limited of Japan and Solvay et Cie of Belgium , set up to market and sell high quality salt produced by Pimai Salt Company , the owner and operator of largest salt mine in Southeast Asia . Our salt mine is located in Amphur Pimai in Nakhonratchasima Province and was established to respon to the demand for salt in Thailand and the world Through the use of modern machinery and equipment and stage -of-the- art technology , we are able to produce clean , refined salt of international standards in a sustainable and an environmentally sensitive way Today, we are one of the most technologically advanced solution mine and salt plant in Asia with a production capacity over 1,500,000 metric tons per annum. TRS is the sole distributor of salt from our mine and work with our many partners and agents to distribute salt to our customers, TRS is the owner of TRS brand , Prung Thip brand , TIPP Salt brand , Pool salt brand.
